How to Make Roasted Potatoes on the BBQ

If you are anything like me, its sometimes hard to come up with sides to serve with your BBQ-ed meals. All you need for this is 5 simple ingredients: red potatoes, red onion, dressing, salt and pepper. This recipe serves 7-8 people.

1. Eight red potatoes- make sure you but the medium sized ones because there are some red potatoes out there that are really small. If those are the only ones you can get, then use at least 16.

2. Slice the potatoes into thin slices (not too thin) and cut up half of a red onion.

3. Add salad dressing (pre-made or you can make your own), salt and pepper.

4. Next place the half of the potatoes on 2 separate sheets of aluminum foil. I doubled them so I wouldn't have any accidents later. After you spread them out, bring the edges together (like in the picture) and close it up as shown (add some butter so that it won't dry out)

5. Place on the BBQ (top part or furthest away from the heat) and leave on while you cook your meat (at least one hour).

6. Serve and Enjoy!

  2. I love red potatoes! I've never had them grilled on the BBQ, so I'll have to give it a try.
